When I grew up I cheered for the Utah Jazz. This meant that we hated one of the closest playoff rivals back then in the day, the LA Lakers. However, I remember a very distinct memory of when that hate changed to respect and actually enjoyment in watching Kobe Bryant. It was the 2008 Summer Olympics and the US was struggling to put Spain away with a few minutes left in the game. Kobe Bryant then took over the game with this incredible 4 point play. But what really gave me the chills is when he held his finger up to his lips and said shhhh…. It was cold-blooded. It was typical Kobe. RIP MAMBA.
