Did Eric Weddle just announce his retirement from the NFL? It sure looks like it. The 6-time pro bowl safety is calling it quits. Weddle had 13 seasons unde his belt after being drafted in 2007 from the University of Utah into the Dan Diego Chargers. While there he watched his daughters halftime performance and was fined for not being in the locker room with the team. Weddle was not happy with the Chargers and left for the Ravens.

Ultimately Weddle ended his career in Los Angeles where he carved out a sweet deal that gave his family a ton of ice cream every time they won.

Here’s to you Eric Weddle, family man, ice cream lover, NFL superstar!
